Software Engineer · Ankara, Turkey

Building Turkey's Digital Future.

I'm Bulut — a software engineer who started coding in 7th grade and never stopped. From freelance to fintech to digitizing government infrastructure, I've spent a decade turning complexity into elegant systems.

01 — The Journey From 7th Grade to Gov

A decade of code before most people graduate.

Most engineers find their passion in university. I found mine before high school. What started as curiosity in 7th grade became a full-blown career — one that's taken me from solo client work, through software development consultancy, to now architecting the digital backbone of Turkish public services.

At 22, I've lived three distinct engineering lives. Each one built on the last. The common thread: a belief that great software doesn't just work — it transforms how people live.

2017–19
The Beginning
7th Grade · Self-Taught
Started with curiosity — HTML, then JavaScript, then "wait, I can build anything." First projects, first bugs, first late nights that felt worth it.
Origin
2019–22
Freelance Engineer
Independent · Remote
Took on real client work while still in school. Built web apps, APIs, and tools for clients across industries. Learned that shipping beats perfecting.
Freelance
2022–23
Software Development Expert
Consultancy · Turkey
Stepped into a senior advisory role — leading development decisions, architecting systems, and mentoring teams on technical strategy.
Expert
2024–Now
Government Infrastructure Engineer
Public Sector · Turkey 🇹🇷
Currently digitizing and modernizing Turkey's public infrastructure. Building systems that millions of citizens will depend on daily. The highest-stakes work yet.

03 — About The Stack

Self-taught. Battle-tested. Still curious.

I didn't wait for a degree to become an engineer. By the time most people take their first CS course, I already had years of shipped products under my belt.

Today I work on problems with real societal weight — building digital services that modernize how the Turkish government interacts with its citizens. It's the kind of work that makes the late nights mean something.

When I'm not building for the state, I explore open source, experiment with new tech, and think about what engineering excellence actually looks like at scale.

04 — Expertise What I bring
01

Full-Stack Engineering

End-to-end product development from database schema to pixel-perfect UI. Built for performance, maintainability, and real-world load.

02

Infrastructure & Scale

Designing systems that don't just work today but handle tomorrow. From microservices to government-grade reliability — I architect for scale.

03

Digital Transformation

Moving legacy systems into the modern era. I've done it for businesses and now for public institutions — the principles are the same, the stakes are higher.
